Samsung announces two Galaxy Tab A devices in Russia
Samsung has announced its two new devices under its latest tablet line-up of Galaxy Tab A at an event in Russia.
Both tablets comes with almost same specifications other than the screen size. One tablet comes with an 8″ display while the other one comes with a 9.7″ display. Both has screen ration of 4:3, making them the first devices from the company to feature such ratio.
The screen resolution of both tablets include 1024 x 769 pixels, which is quite low and makes unimpressive pixel per inch. Power by a 1.2GHz quad core processor, 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage which can be expanded further upto 128 GB through microSD card.
The 8 inch model is powered by a 4,200 mAh battery while the 9.7 inch model is powered by a 6,200 mAh battery. It also features a 5 MP rear and 2 MP front facing camera.
The 8-inch Galaxy Tab A is priced between RUB16,990 ($275) and RUB18,990 ($307) for the Wi-Fi-only version and RUB20,990 ($340) to RUB22,990 ($372) for the LTE-enabled one. The 9.7 inch model costs exactly RUB 4,000 (~65) more than the 8 inch model.
