HTC may launch two versions of One M9 – a flagship and a phablet
HTC has maintained the size of the its flagship smartphone over the years, regardless of increasing size of flagship smartphones from its rival brands. But now, the company may offer its flagship phone in a bigger size of display.
As per the report from a Portugese site, the company may launch two variants of its flagship smartphone – a flagship version with smaller display and a phablet version. The phablet version may sport a 5.5-inch Quad HD screen at 534 pixels-per-inch.
It may be powered by the 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and 3GB of RAM, sport a 3000mAh battery, and 32GB of built-in storage. It could have a 20 MP camera at back and a 4 MP UltraPixel shooter at front. The report also suggests that the HTC One M9 Max will arrive in August or September.
Earlier, @upleaks tweeted that the next HTC flagship which is codenamed ‘Hima’ will feature will sport a 5 inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 810 processor, 3 GB RAM, 20.7 MP rear camera, 13 MP front or 4 MP UltraPixel front camera, 2,840mAh battery and will run on Android 5.0 with Sense 7.0.
However, it is not yet clear of the HTC Hima is the HTC One M9 or not. So, the sources of the above mentioned two devices may be reporting about different devices. It is expected that HTC may launch HTC Hima right after MWC 2015 in March.
