MiWe are well aware that Chinese Smartphone-maker Xiaomi is having a great run in the Indian smartphone market. It has already sold a record number of smartphones through its Flash-Sales model in India

Further corroborating those numbers, the company is now claiming that it has sold over a million devices in the country. Xiaomi currently sells 3 smartphone variants in India, which includes the Mi3, Redmi 1s and Redmi Note. All these three handsets have been clocking record sales, ever since the company launched them.

Xioami Global Vice-President, Huggo Barra announced the milestone via Facebook. The Mi India facebook page has shared the same with an announcement of a contest which will give Redmi Note 4G to three lucky Mi fans.

The past few days however, have been a bit rock for the Chinese brand. It faced a ban by the order of Delhi High Court for patent infringement. However, the ban was later lifted, partially, to allow Xiaomi to sell only those models, which were powered by a Qualcomm processor.
