samsung_mobile_storeSamsung is rumored to announce its upcoming flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S6 at CES 2015 in January. The Korean giant usually unveils the Galaxy S series smartphone between February and May.

According to a report from Korean publication Chosun Biz citing analysts from MAS (Mirae Asset Securities – based out of South Korea), the Galaxy S6 could get unveiled between January 6 and 9. The dates coincides with CES 2015 happening in Las Vegas.

If the latest rumors are to be believed, we might also see the curved screen variant alongside the original Galaxy S6.

The rumored specs of the phone include 5.5-inch QHD display, Exynos 7420 octa-core processor, 3 GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, a 20MP rear camera and a 5-megapixel front snapper.

We will have to wait to see if the company officially announces its flagship smartphone earlier. If the company is planning to announce it earlier, there are high chances that we might have information about the device through leaks before the official launch.
