LG has apparently started rolling out the official Android Lollipop update for the G3 (via GSMArena). However, the update is currently rolling out only in the UK and that too on Vodafone UK handsets.

With this update, LG has become the first smartphone brand, to offer the Android Lollipop update on its flagship device. Though we recently reported that the S4 GPe is also getting official updates, it however doesn’t count under Samsung since its a Google Play Edition.

The update on LG G3 can be downloaded via the usual procedure and users will receive a notification for the same. There’s no info on availability of this update in other countries, but considering the fact that it has arrived in the U.K., other countries may soon witness the same.

Let us know whether you got the update or not in the comments section below.
